Missionaries to the Deaf in the Dominican Republic
Testimonies
Eric Quinlan
I was saved at the age of 5, when I understood that I am a sinner and I need a savior. I trusted in Jesus and His promise to make a home for me in Heaven. (John 14:1-3)
Attending church throughout my childhood by means of the bus ministry of our local Baptist church, I later as a teen began to help out and minister on the bus. Then later as a young adult, I became the captain of my own bus and Sunday School teacher at New England Baptist Church.
While attending New England Baptist Theological Institute, I had the opportunity to learn Sign Language and then continued to serve the Lord as Sunday School teacher and church interpreter for the Deaf. It was through this service that when visiting family in the Dominican Republic, the Lord burdened my heart for the Deaf there and I transferred to Harvest Deaf Bible College to continue my studies , answering God's call as missionary to the Deaf in the Dominican Republic.

I was saved a 11 years old in Santo Doming through the bus ministry of an Independent Baptist Church founded my a missionary.
Then at the age of 19 I was baptized and discipled and began to serve the Lord in my local Baptist church. I also attended our church's Bible Institute and received my Certificate of Biblical Studies and continued to serve faithfully as Sunday School teacher at church and a pre-school teacher at a Christian School.
After marriage I continued to grow and serve the Lord at New England Baptist Church as Sunday School teacher, and Nursery Director. I am now blessed to continue serving the Lord in this exciting ministry with the Deaf.
